The Bluebird Theater marquee is one of the most recognizable signs in Denver. Located on East Colfax, the historic venue has hosted concerts and events for decades and the marquee has become a landmark along the street.

The before and after photos show the impact of rebuilding the marquee face and frame, installing new neon, and upgrading the lighting system.

Before restoration, the Bluebird Theater marquee had significant wear from years of exposure to the elements. The face and framing around the track had deteriorated, sections of the neon were no longer functioning, and the lighting had become uneven and dim. What was once a vibrant landmark along East Colfax had started to lose the visual impact that makes historic theater signs so memorable, making it clear that the marquee needed a full rebuild and lighting upgrade to bring it back to life.

Our team restored and rebuilt key elements of the sign, including the face and structural frame surrounding the track. We also replaced all of the neon and installed new lighting to bring the marquee back to life.
With historic signs like this, the goal is to preserve the character while upgrading materials and lighting so the sign can continue performing for
