Cookie Factory is a contemporary art gallery located in Denver’s RiNo district, occupying a renovated industrial building with a bold creative identity. The client needed a signage package that would complement the gallery’s modern aesthetic while creating a memorable presence both inside and outside the space.

RiNo Sign Works fabricated and installed a custom signage system featuring an illuminated blade sign, custom window graphics, dimensional branding elements, and a handcrafted real neon interior sign. The result is a signage package that feels like an extension of the artwork itself, helping visitors locate the gallery while reinforcing the creative energy of the space.

The Challenge

Cookie Factory required signage that could stand out in Denver’s highly competitive RiNo arts district without feeling like traditional retail signage. The building’s industrial architecture and gallery-focused atmosphere demanded a solution that balanced visibility, wayfinding, and artistic expression.

The exterior blade sign needed to provide strong pedestrian visibility from multiple directions while maintaining the gallery’s modern aesthetic. Inside, the client wanted a statement piece that would become part of the visitor experience rather than simply functioning as directional signage.

The Solution

RiNo Sign Works developed a custom signage package centered around a one-of-a-kind illuminated blade sign and a handcrafted real neon interior sign.

The exterior blade sign features custom illuminated push-through lettering housed within a fabricated cabinet, creating a striking visual landmark that remains highly visible after dark. Custom perforated window graphics provide additional branding and visitor information while preserving visibility into the gallery.

Inside the gallery, a custom real neon sign creates an immersive visual experience that reflects the artistic nature of the space. Together, these elements create a cohesive signage system that functions as both branding and environmental design.
