Multi-Location Signage | Monument Signs | Illuminated & Non-Illuminated | Interior & Exterior
RiNo Sign Works partnered with Humane Colorado on a multi-location signage program spanning several of their facilities across Colorado.
This project included a mix of large-scale monument signage, exterior wall signage, and supporting interior elements, all designed to create a cohesive brand presence while adapting to the unique needs of each location.
From the Malone Center in Denver to the Buddy Center in Castle Rock and the San Luis Valley location in Alamosa, each site required thoughtful coordination, engineering, and installation logistics to bring the Humane Colorado brand to life in a consistent and durable way.
Scope of Work
This was not a one-site project. It was an ongoing signage rollout across multiple facilities, requiring coordination across different jurisdictions, site conditions, and timelines.
The scope included site surveys and permitting across multiple municipalities, removal and replacement of existing signage, fabrication of custom wall signs and monument signs, both illuminated and non-illuminated signage systems, as well as engineering, footings, and structural integration. The project also required careful coordination of multi-phase installations and sequencing.
At the Malone Center alone, the project included multiple large wall signs, a full monument sign replacement, and coordination of temporary signage during phased installation .
Monument Signage Systems
A major component of this program was the fabrication and installation of custom monument signs tailored to each facility.
At the Buddy Center, we fabricated a non-illuminated double-sided monument sign with aluminum construction and dimensional lettering, designed for long-term exterior durability while maintaining a clean and modern appearance .
At the San Luis Valley location, we produced a fully illuminated monument sign featuring push-through acrylic lettering, internal LED illumination, and integrated power systems with UL labeling to ensure full code compliance .
Each monument required engineered footings, precise fabrication using aluminum and acrylic components, and thoughtful integration of branding, typography, and wayfinding. Installation also required careful coordination in active, public-facing environments.
Exterior Wall Signage
At the Malone Center, RiNo fabricated and installed multiple large-scale wall signs using flat-cut aluminum lettering, custom painted finishes matched to brand standards, and pin-mounted installation with spacers to create dimensional depth. These signs were produced at a large format scale, exceeding 10 feet in width .
The project also included removal of existing signage, surface repair, and phased installation using temporary banners to maintain visibility throughout construction.
Process & Coordination
Projects like this are less about a single sign and more about system-level thinking.
Each location required local zoning and permitting coordination, engineering review and documentation, and consistent brand application across varying site conditions. Careful scheduling was critical to minimize disruption to daily operations.
Because these facilities serve the public, installation timelines and site safety were especially important throughout the process.
